**Position**: Warehouse Assistant

**Location**: Somerton, Victoria

**Role Overview**: We are seeking a motivated and capable Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in the smooth operations of our warehouse, contributing to the efficient management of incoming and outgoing goods. Your dedication and can-do attitude will be crucial in ensuring our products reach our valued customers on time and in excellent condition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate forklift to safely move and organise pallets and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, verifying accuracy of shipments and ensuring items are properly stored.
- Pick and pack orders accurately, preparing them for shipment according to established guidelines.
- Receive goods into the warehouse, inspecting for quality and accuracy against purchase orders.
- Manage incoming containers, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely processing.
- Conduct regular stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy and assist in inventory management.
- Assist in invoicing processes, maintaining documentation accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse processes and overall efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including forklift operation and order picking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks such as inventory management and order processing.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with receipting of goods, container management, and stock counting.
- Basic understanding of invoicing procedures and documentation.
- Eager and proactive attitude, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and challenges.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Valid forklift operator's license is preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Somerton, VIC 3062: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
