Key Outcomes and Accountabilities

The aim of this role is to:
Partner with the Information Management Branch and Communications team to establish the QBCC's intranet as a key communication channel.
Develop and embed a new intranet content publishing process, and undertake training with nominated publishers to ensure consistency across channels and alignment with visual and corporate identity guidelines.
Identify and execute content, structural and technical improvements to the intranet in consultation with the Communications Team and Information Management Branch.
Gather information and data regarding digital platform and content performance and report to required outcomes.
Monitor the functionality of the QBCC's digital channels and resolve identified problems or issues.

Well-developed skills in content development, maintaining and improving content management systems (for example SharePoint) in line with WCAG 2.1.
Prior experience in an intranet administrator role (e.g. SharePoint/Azure).
Experience with implementing intranet workflows using PowerApps or similar.
Constructively contribute to the work group to achieve outcomes and effective work relationships.
Develop, implement and promote effective communication which includes managing business relationships and consultative content creation processes to ensure requirements are met.
Prior experience in embedding new processes for digital platforms is desirable.
Gather, produce, implement, test and quality assure online content from concept to launch inclusive of problem solving and analytical thinking to identify issues and make recommendations.
