Ai Group Apprentice & Trainee Centre are currently seeking to employ two individuals to under a Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning apprenticeship.
This position will be in partnership with our host employer, Tri Tech Refrigeration Australia.
Tri Tech Refrigeration Australia focus on industrial refrigeration service and contracting and currently employ more than 50 dedicated people ranging from refrigeration technicians, electricians, welders through to project managers, engineers, sales and administration staff.
**About us**
Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation who employs apprentices and trainees then places them with Host Organisations. We provide support for all apprentices and trainees by way of our mentoring program which fits in with a regular cycle of visiting in the workplace and training provider. We are there to assist and guide you through not only the apprenticeship/traineeship but where necessary provide support and assistance to allow you to successfully complete your work and training commitments and gain your qualification.

**Mandatory Requirements**:Must be an Australian Citizen or have the correct working visa to apply.

**A Certificate III Air Conditioning & Refrigeration apprenticeship will involve learning all aspects of the trade, including;**
- Installing compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, air filters, switches, gauges, copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, fuel, oil, chilled water and compressed air.
- Plans and specifications for installation.
- Drill holes, install mounting brackets and then cut, shape and thread piping through wall and floors.
- Cooperate with other trades when installing ducting for air conditioning and piping to refrigeration systems.
- Testing installation and fill systems for leaks using gas or fluid.
- Repair and replace problematic components of industrial and household refrigerators and air conditioning units.

This apprenticeship is a Skills Shortage Trade.
