The Institute is committed to providing quality and contemporary education and is seeking to recruit a highly motivated, energetic, and resourceful **Student Administration & Experience Officer **with a positive outlook and demeanor and a demonstrated commitment and passion for engaging with people from diverse, multicultural backgrounds. The position is based at the reception offering students first-hand face to face support.
Reporting to the Head of Department, the role is responsible for the
- Provision of student experience services, including welfare support
- Reception & front office administration
**SPECIFIC DUTIES include**:
- Provide general administration support for students, including data entry and office support to management & student services.
- Serve as the front office/reception support by handling parents, guardians, visitors, and student inquiries.
- Coordinate and assist with local expos and education fairs to promote the College and its courses.
- Coordinate welfare arrangements for Under 18s and ensure their safety and well-being while studying at the College.
- Be the first tier of support for all student and academic staff inquiries at the College and provide accurate advice to students on matters related to their College studies.
- Assist students with academic/non-academic needs and help with a range of support services to enhance their overall student experience.
- Respond to general Student Experience inquiries and solve them to resolve the queries effectively.
**Requirements**:
- Up-to-date working knowledge of key legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to international students, including essential knowledge of the ESOS Code of Practice.
- Positive and supportive communication style with proven experience in effectively communicating with a variety of key stakeholders.
- Ability to plan, control, coordinate, and manage activities with mínimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- A self-starter with a professional image, who demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
- Minimum two years of experience in an administrative role in a fast-paced environment, with experience in the education sector highly regarded.
**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:
- Bachelor qualification or higher
- 1 year experience in a similar role
