Responsible for engaging with Members and potential new Members to retain and grow the membership base of the Elevating Work Platforms Association (EWPA), Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA) & Telescopic Handler Association (TSHA).

**OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION**
As an integral member of the team, the Member Engagement Manager will:

- Increase membership of the Associations through referrals and incoming enquiries by demonstrating the value of membership and the associated benefits
- Respond to all membership enquiries and update new and renewing members in the CRM
- Build lasting relationships with Association members to improve membership retention
- Support programs for members with our partners to include organizing networking events and workshop groups
- Provide reporting on membership retention, engagement, and acquisition when new Member Management System (MMS) is implemented
- Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to roll out a new MMS
- Investigate and implement new benefits for members in conjunction with National Sales, Operations, and other key stakeholders

**COMMUNICATION**:

- Maintain ongoing, professional communication with Members at national and branch level
- Maintain professional face to face, phone, and electronic positive communications
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholder groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Skills required**:

- Ability to act independently with mínimal supervision within areas of responsibility and manage tasks through to completion
- Use initiative, problem solving skills and research techniques when approaching tasks where barriers are encountered
- Work through any problems independently or immediately advise management of any issues that can potentially affect quality of content or adherence to deadlines
- Highly developed administrative skills to provide support to internal and external stakeholders
- Microsoft Office skills and the ability to use Association software including Xero, SMS, CRM, websites, and Trainer app
- Effectively liaise technology providers and support internal stakeholders to use systems with optimal efficiency
- Excellent personal organizational skills including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects to competing deadlines

- Ability to identify, communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups
- Flexible with the ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment

**Qualifications & experience**:

- Relevant qualifications (degree or equivalent) and 3 years + previous experience in business/membership administration, customer service or sale/marketing
- Microsoft Office - intermediate to advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to identify, communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups
- Flexible with the ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment
- Current Drivers License

**Salary**: $78,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
