Daily we service over 210 school runs along with charter, sports events, rail replacements and a lot more.

**Job Summary**:
We are currently seeking flexible and dependable **standby scatter bus & coach drivers**to join our team. This on-call position is ideal for drivers who are dynamic, able to think on their feet, know Sydney well and want the ability to earn with generous hours. You will be called upon to cover routes, contracts, and private hires at short notice when regular drivers are unavailable, are away on holidays or cover in case of any incidents or accidents. No two days will ever be the same.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be available on short notice to cover various bus and coach duties
- Operate vehicles safely and professionally at all times
- Complete local and long-distance driving assignments, including school runs, private hires, corporate events, and tours
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure passengers’ safety, comfort, and compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours and job details
- Represent NSBC Group in a professional and courteous manner

**Requirements**:

- Valid MR driving license (minimum)
- Valid NSW Drivers Authority
- Strong knowledge of Sydney roads, regulations and traffic laws
- Flexibility to work in a variety of driving scenarios, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and presentable

**Desirable**:

- Experience with school contracts, private hire, or tourism work

**To Apply**:
Pay: $33.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 55 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chullora NSW 2190: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Coach/Bus: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- MR Licence (preferred)
- NSW Drivers Authority (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
