One of Australia's most crucial Federal Government departments in **Canberra** is looking to engage **MULTIPLE** experienced **Security Specialists **to join a team to deliver cutting edge capabilities in support of a nationwide, enterprise program of work. The role will be based in **Canberra **with the** **successful **Security Specialists **to be offered an initial **24 month contract with a long term extension option.**

The successful** Security Specialists **will be responsible for the below:

- Be a part of the design and implementation of systems and networks - providing security assessments and architectural advice.
- Monitor networks for intrusions using skills in Network Security Monitoring, Threat Hunting and Network Forensics.
- Build and implement security monitoring use cases.

The successful **Security Specialists **will have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated experience in monitoring use case development, implementation and maintenance
- Knowledge and experience in assessing and developing network security architecture.
- Proven experience in SOC including conducting security monitoring, threat hunting and incident response activities.
