**About the Opportunity**

The Product Specialist - Motor Insurance is essential for supporting RACV to achieve its growth mandate through assisting with the delivery of sales and product initiatives for Motor Insurance. You will be responsible for portfolio management across pricing, product profitability member retention and requires strong stakeholder engagement.

Working across various projects, you will be focussed on developing products which will provide enhancements to Motor Insurance. Daily responsibilities will include the following:

- Monitor short term product performance to identify emerging trends and opportunities
- Coordinate marketing activities (e.g. research, product positioning, value proposition development, campaigns)
- Development and co-ordination of retention program
- Analyse product and revenue performance on a range of KPI’s, including analysis of issues and underlying causes
- Initiate, build, and maintain effective external relationships with service delivery partners

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant business discipline such as commerce, law, economics, science, engineering, or marketing
- 3-5 years’ experience in product function in a B2C environment, product and business development
- Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated experience in business case development
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to be flexible and deal with ambiguity
- Teamwork across the business and ability to work through others
