Our client is a State Government Organisation, seeking a Communications Manager to take ownership for their Communications and Marketing strategies and activities. This is a State government Level 7 role located in Perth CBD.
**Your new role**
As Communications Manager, you will report into the director and take ownership for developing and implementing all communications strategy for internal and external channels. This is a key role in in shaping the organisations messaging, strategy, and relationships with key stakeholders across the sector, ensuring the alignment with their values and strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads communication and marketing efforts to enhance Legal Aid WA’s public image and profile and position.
- Oversee the development and implementation of protocols, tools and templates to ensure a consistent brand, including development of a style guide for all internal and external communications and publications.
- Preparation of corporate publications including annual and quarterly reports, newsletters, media releases and corporate announcements.
- Management of social media channels.
- Plans and coordinates major events involving external stakeholders, including service launches, tours, speaking events and other opportunities to raise the company profile.
- Identify through research and analysis, opportunities to improve and streamline processes associated with corporate communications and digital media.

You will be an experienced Communications professional with a proven capability in developing and implementing Communication strategies. This role will require the following skills, attributes, and experience:
- Ability strategically, identify emerging trends and opportunities and develop innovative communication solutions.
- Experience in corporate communications, including developing and implementing a communications strategy.
- Ability to use digital and traditional media in a strategic and creative way to effectively convey messaging.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including government.
