**About the role**

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Coaching, developing and facilitating on the job learning and effective mentoring across the lending solutions team
- Creating, reviewing and removing processes which impacts Lending Services in consultation with relevant stakeholders
- Identifying and understanding impacts of upcoming regulatory and industry changes, working with the Bank to implement these changes to process and systems
- Participating in community events and engagements, pursuing cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and business partners

**About you**

We’re looking for a true people leader, someone who thrives on coaching with empathy, and can build and maintain effective business partnerships across the Bank. You will get to understanding the team and their objectives, whilst navigating the lending market landscape, bringing the team together to tackle any challenges head on. You will be wholly focussed on continuous improvement as well as facilitating an ongoing effective training environment. Further to this, ideally you will bring to the team:

- At least 5 years relevant industry experience working in a residential lending capacity from a broking, branch-lending or mobile Banking environment
- A strong ability to understand, interpret and analyse numerical data and statistical information
- Excellent communications skills (both written and oral) and demonstrates a strong ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
- The ability to lead a large team, including the ability to drive change through the empowerment of people.
