**About the role**:
As Manager Spatial Information Services, you will use your extensive GIS management experience to support Parks Victoria in ensuring Victoria's parks are healthy and resilient for current and future generations. You will be responsible for the leadership of the Spatial team in delivering spatial technologies, services, and products to meet current and future organisational needs. You will have oversight and responsibility of strategic planning, spatial data management, cartography services and supplier and stakeholder management. Using your experience and knowledge in the geospatial industry, you will help shape the direction of spatial products and services, drive improvement opportunities, and support a team of highly motivated and dedicated spatial professionals.

**We're looking for someone who can**:

- Lead a specialised team and foster a culture of high performance
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of Parks Victoria's spatial systems, including GIS and web mapping platforms
- Provide expert advice and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, and contracts to ensure the delivery of high-value, cost-effective spatial services
- Lead the development of spatial technology roadmaps, mitigate risks, and ensure service delivery aligns with Parks Victoria's objectives

Geospatial technologies, services, and products play an important role in management of the 4 million hectares of land, wetland and marine parks and reserves Parks Victoria looks after. The spatial team provide services for many areas of the organisation undertaking spatial services, products, workflows, and data which can be further leveraged to help Parks Victoria deliver its objectives effectively.
