As the Coordinator of Asset and Spatial Information Systems, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and enhancement of the council’s corporate systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic advice to support the development of corporate systems, with a primary focus on implementing and maintaining the Council's Asset Management Information System (Confirm) and corporate GIS.
- Conducting business analysis associated with the implementation of these systems.
- Leading GIS staff and overseeing GIS functions within the organization.
- Offering specialist advice and support for asset management-related data collection and analysis, acting as the responsible custodian for Council GIS data held within relevant corporate databases.
- Responding to and addressing reactive issues relating to the GIS and Asset Management Systems.
- Defining the direction and strategy for the acquisition and implementation of GIS and Asset Management technology within the Council.
- Providing specialist advice and project management support for identifying improvements to the corporate GIS and Asset Management System.
