**About the Role**:
The Lending Consultant is responsible for finance brokering residential and commercial loan products and referring insurance products to internal and external clients and stakeholders.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Undertake sales calls to prospective customers
- Settle loans by monitoring collection, verification, and preparation of loan documentation, and completing loan closing
- Ensure finance broking standards are met, by identifying variance, implementing corrective actions and providing annual budget information
- Build and maintain a client portfolio by identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Provide and promote outstanding customer service, including resolving customer issues or concerns and maintaining relationships post settlement
- Identify mortgage loan system improvements
- General administration tasks
- Supporting the General Manager of Truevest Finance

**What you will bring**:

- Minimum 12 month’s lending experience within Financial Services
- Significant knowledge of residential and commercial lending and transactional banking products
- Significant experience as a mortgage broker, lending consultant or banking professional, with a particular emphasis on the first home owner market and construction loans including split land and build contract scenarios
- Proven success in developing, monitoring, and achieving sales budgets and targets
- Exceptional communication skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills with the aptitude to provide practical and tailored loan services to customers
- Understanding of regulatory requirements specific to the role
- Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking and Finance (minimum)
- Availability to work evening and weekends
- Australian driver’s license and reliable vehicle
