**About the role**

Based at our Adelaide head office location, this 12 month fixed term, full time,** Home Lending Specialist Role** reports to the **Team Leader **with key responsibilities relating to supporting business growth through workflow efficiencies, quality assurance, 1st time capability, document & loan file management; whilst focussing on helping customers achieve their goals by providing relevant financial solutions.

As the Lending Consultant, you will establish and maintain quality relationships with both internal and external partners and will work with key stakeholders to implement and deliver holistic solutions for customers, and drive growth whilst striving to further develop their lending skillset & acting within the Bank’s risk appetite.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Sound understanding of consumer lending and insurance products and services
- Strong relationship building skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to proactively undertake needs-based conversations presenting relevant solutions and asking for the business
- Ability to multitask, while working in a high pressure environment Ability to use and operate multiple systems concurrently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound business acumen
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to read and understand credit policy
