The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Work Health and Safety Business Partner (Fatigue Review Project) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 10 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide leadership and guidance to WHS Business Partnering staff, accelerating the performance of the team, providing professional support, coaching and direction to team members and determining resource allocation, priorities and quality standards for the team
- Manage, coordinate and conduct internal safety investigations to identify risks, trends and patterns, providing recommendations and implementing flexible, responsive, quality and client focused solutions to facilitate decision-making, address exigent situations and reduce workplace incidents
- Engage and consult with stakeholders to implement opportunities for innovation and improvement in safety and wellbeing, addressing identified deficiencies and improvement opportunities in service provision to ensure that GCHHS are best placed to respond to developments in the current regulatory enforcement environment
About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:
- Driver licence
- Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary
- Temporary full time (6 month contract)
- Base salary ranging from $4 175.50 - $4 472.70 per fortnight
