**The Opportunity**

Our growing Sustainability team is responsible for developing and executing Medibank’s Sustainability strategy and reporting across the business. In this newly created role, you will work closely with the Head of Sustainability to support the implementation of Medibank’s Sustainability strategy and roadmap, including:

- Our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint and achieving our Net Zero goals.
- Data analysis, strategy development, and collaboration with various stakeholders to promote environmentally responsible practices.
- Environmental sustainability governance and reporting including policies and procedures.
- Support projects aligned with our sustainability focus and build internal awareness and understanding of environmental sustainability.

**What we’re looking for**

You have a sharp eye for detail, strong data analysis skills, and a commitment to accuracy in reporting. You are adept at handling diverse data sources, linking sustainability initiatives to positive outcomes, proposing innovative solutions, and managing projects efficiently. A passion for driving environmental change across the organisation and community is essential.

You will also have:

- At least 3 years experience in sustainability with a focus on environmental sustainability
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, environmental management, commerce
- Previous experience in an ESG and/or sustainability role including environmental management or assurance
- Technical understanding of climate action, emissions reductions, resource recovery and related sustainability impacts in Australia
