**ABOUT THE ROLE**

You will provide expert support and guidance for Project Risk Management, grounded in adherence to Origin's Risk framework. Responsible for providing technical advice and working with our Risk Governance team to uplift Origin’s company-wide project risk management framework and processes to support the consistent identification, assessment and reporting of project-related risks throughout the organisation and proactively address and alleviate potential impacts on people, reputation or finance.

You will build robust connections with Senior Leaders overseeing Major Development Projects, actively shaping the incorporation of risk management into the planning and execution of the project.

**More about the role**:

- _Act as a true business partner -_ Partner with Business Units / Functions leadership teams to support the delivery of a complete risk profile and adequate critical control portfolio to effectively manage the risks associated with Projects.
- _Be the Project Risk Technical Expert -_ Provide technical and contemporary risk expertise in project risk management at Origin, integrating industry trends to manage risk and opportunities related to climate change, regulatory changes and energy transition.
- _Uplift risk culture and capability -_ Drive a risk-based culture through training and coaching and integration of risk management into core business processes.

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role you will come with experience in projects risk management, preferable in the manufacturing, resources, oil & gas or energy sector, with skills in implementing Project Frameworks at large scale.

**More about you**:

- Understanding of risk management, including identification, assessment and treatment and relevant risk management standards (e.g. ISO31000).
- Experience with integrating key projects risks into corporate, company-wide risk frameworks.
- Ability to assess effectiveness and efficacy of a risk control environment and identify control gaps and recommend appropriate controls.
- Agility and ability to work creatively and analytically in decision making and problem-solving environments.
