Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Bank Of Queensland Full time

**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Technology Risk Partner, Cyber and Data Risk during our digital transformation journey on a permanent basis. By joining the digital bank of the future, you will be able to make a difference with integrity and empathy by supporting our IT risk and control management activities, adding significant value to our organisation. With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across the BOQ Group.

As a Technology Risk Partner, Cyber and Data Risk, you will sit within the Group Technology division to lead identification, management, reporting and monitoring of IT risks and controls, with additional focus on the information security and cyber domain. This will also include development and implementation of the technology risk maturity roadmap and risk culture initiatives. You will seek to implement key requirements of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) such as control self-assessment, risk event and incident management, key risk indicators (KRI), issue management and risk in change.

Reporting to the Head of Technology Risk, you will bring a pragmatic and commercial lens to managing cyber and data risk. This will involve you providing guidance on risk acceptance and design of remediation plans while balancing risk and reward, board risk appetite and compliance requirements. This extends to regulatory, external and internal audit issues. Furthermore, you will support special initiatives with the Head of Technology Risk and the Chief Information Security and Technology Risk Officer, leading the delivery of risk awareness training sessions within the broader Group Technology division.

This is a challenging and exciting role with a wide range of opportunities to help you take your career to the next level, where you will be at the core of our decision making. **About you**
As an experienced technology risk professional, you will be a collaborative people and outcome focussed professional who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy proactively communicating with a business, such as to executive members, to provide expert advice on how to improve and maintain processes or increase understanding of project impacts.

Having experience in end-to-end management of large complex risk programs within the information technology and cyber domain, you will have knowledge of operational risk management frameworks, supporting standards, processes and practices. You have a detailed understanding of APRA Prudential Standards (such as CPS220, CPS231, CPS232 and CPS234) which you have gained through implementation experience.

Collaboration and partnership come naturally to you, where you participate in and promote cooperative working relationships with internal and external parties through knowledge sharing and partnership.
