**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Coordinator to join the Jay Jays Dresses and fully fashion knitwear team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and demonstrate your passion for product

This role is a 12 month maternity leave contract, located at our Support Office on St Kilda Rd.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assisting the Product Manager in the sampling approval process including fittings, creating and sending tech packs and strike off approvals
- Liaising daily with our offshore/local suppliers and factories
- Working with Licensors or licensing product would be an advantage, but not essential
- Briefing new ranges to suppliers for development
- Maintaining effective relationships and regular communication with suppliers
- Working with the Graphic Designers and overseas suppliers to give feedback on print development and execution
- Trend research into colour and new print direction for the Jay Jays customer
- Managing and tracking the sample process, critical path, production schedules and freight timelines
- Supporting the product team with administrative needs

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience in a Product Coordinator, Production Assistant or Assistant Buyer is preferable
- Qualification in Fashion and Textile is advantageous
- Proactive, motivated and likes working in a fast pace environment
- Have great attention to detail and works well under pressure
- High level of productivity and efficiency
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Be a collaborative team member
