- With continued growth and over $1 billion of work-in-hand, Georgiou has an opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to join our team in Western Australia. Applications are encouraged from experienced Design Managers with a background in commercial or engineering construction.
- The successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to the scoping, evaluation and appointment of project consultants, establishment and driving the deliverables required from project design management plan from the relevant stage of the assigned projects. Beyond ensuring the design progresses efficiently in line with the projects requirements, the Design Manager will be responsible for challenging the design assumptions and identifying areas where Georgiou can leverage time, cost or quality opportunities in line with the clients requirements.**What you're good at**:

- Demonstrated experience as a Design Manager in commercial and/or engineering construction
- Demonstrable D&C project experience working for a contractor encompassing a wide range of commercial and/or engineering projects from concept design to construction
- 10 years current experience working in a similar role
- An excellent team player with strong communication skills and the ability to drive project design outcomes
- Relevant Engineering or Architectural Degree
- Valid Construction Safety Awareness Card
- Valid Worksite Traffic Management Certificate
- NABERS or Greenstar training and accreditation (Desirable)
