As an IKEA Food Coordinator you demonstrate a passion for food and people’s life at home. You have a love and commitment to food and its quality and presentation. You have excellent communication skills and can influence and communicate effectively on all levels. You have strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate and support the department team operationally. You are a true customer advocate who takes pride in the service and are able to act upon customer feedback so they can expect a safe, healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable and joyful food experience. You will have full-time availability, including up to 3 out of 4 weekends.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As IKEA Food Coordinator in (Kitchen Operation) your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Contributing to the implementation of global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
- Ensuring that every customer has a consistent and excellent shopping experience by supporting the team to see through the customer’s eyes.
- Overseeing the daily operations of the team including allocating tasks and coordinating breaks, while analysing processes to continually improve in daily operations and commercial activities
- Contributing to the implementation of the unit business plan, IKEA Retail Food business plan and other action plans including the implementation of the global and national sustainability strategies.

TOGETHER AS A TEAM

The key role of the IKEA Food team is to serve our customers ensuring they have a positive experience in our store to give our visitors a tasty reason to return. Together we strive to deliver a prime dining experience for the customer shopping journey and ensure our shoppers and their stomachs are truly satisfied.
