As our store trades 7 days a week, including weekends, you are required to work a mixture of morning (from 8am), evening (until 8pm), and weekend shifts (both Saturday & Sunday) to be considered for this role.
**Your responsibilities**
As an IKEA Food Co-worker in our Operations team, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
- Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
- Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
- Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers.
**Together as a team**
A key role of the Food Operations team is to serve our customers ensuring they have a positive experience in our store to give our visitors a taste reason to return. Together we strive to deliver a prime dining experience for the customer shopping journey and ensure our shoppers and their stomachs are truly satisfied.
What you need to know
This opportunity is Permanent, Part-Time 30 or 50 hours/fortnight, based in Majura, ACT. The hourly pay rate for this role starts at $24.93, plus penalty rates.
