Who you are

You are both an impassioned foodie and an advocate for providing our customers with a great food experience. You have the ability to meet deadlines through your proactivity and organisation management. With a strong understanding of commerciality and competent stakeholder management skills, you can influence and negotiate effectively to position the IKEA Food function as a profitable business. You demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills and can articulate and co-collaborate with various stakeholders and have extremely efficient time management skills to ensure projects and tasks are delivered in a timely manner.

Along with experience in managing budgets, you have a strong understanding of gross margin and top-line sales. You are also an experienced leader, with previous experience in leading large and diverse teams. You are passionate about mentoring and developing future leaders in the business, who can make a positive impact in the customer experience.

You are also available to work across the store opening hours, including some late nights and every other full weekend.

**Your responsibilities**

As Food Commercial Manager your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Leading and implementing the commercial strategy and commercial calendar, as well as the IKEA Food communication and cross merchandising strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring a seamless Food customer experience within all Food areas
- Working closely with the Commercial Team to drive higher customer visitation, conversion and activating food offers that are locally relevant to the market
- Securing the correct competence within the IKEA Food team
- Developing and improving the Food business by seeking and acting upon customer feedback
- Contributing to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Food business plan, and ensuring food is connected to the store's commercial calendar

A key role of the Food team is to provide a prime dining experience for our customers, ensuring our shoppers and their stomachs are truly satisfied. In line with the rest of the store’s values, we prioritise sustainability and are always on the lookout for new food ideas to keep our customers engaged and that they finish their shopping journey with a delicious taste in their mouth.
