**Job description**

**Pay rate $30.45 per hour.**

**About our client and Role**

Our client in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne is a Local Council who is after new **Bin Count Project Officers.**

**Position**:
Count bins on the days they are collected

Walking past each bin, noting down they type and size

Using a survey link sent to their own phone, recording information

As this data will be used for the waste charge on the rate’s notice, high level of data entry is required

**Requirements**:
No experience required

Must be comfortable with technology and have their own smart phone/device

Have good attention to detail

Like working outdoors

Have a reasonable fitness level (able to walk for long periods of time)

As starting location will vary each day, must be able to travel to each location so will need a car and licence

must have licence and car to travel

Have/be able to obtain a valid Police Check

Be vaccinated in line with the governments COVID requirements

**Other information to keep in mind**:
Shifts are 6am or 7 am to 11am or 12 noon (5 hours shifts, no break)

Minimum commitment is 2-3 shifts each week for approximately 3 months

3 hours paid training will be held 6th June (9.30am - 12.30am)

No weekend or public holidays
