**Program Manager, Dam Compliance - Hills and Fleurieu Landscape Board**

**As the Program Manager, Dam Compliance you will**:

- Lead an innovative compliance program that safeguards South Australia's precious water resources.
- Oversee a cutting-edge, GIS-based detection system to monitor dam activity in real time.
- Foster strong stakeholder engagement with regional authorities, industry, and federal agencies.
- Manage a high-performing team committed to legislative compliance and achieving positive environmental outcomes.
- Drive impactful education and awareness initiatives to enhance community understanding of dam regulations.
- Ensure successful project delivery through strategic planning, risk management, and effective budget control.

**About you**:

- **Lead with purpose**: You’re a natural leader who motivates, develops, and empowers multidisciplinary teams to achieve on-time, on-budget results.
- **Proven program and project expertise**: With a strategic focus on policy, contracts and risk management, you effectively guide programs from inception to completion.
- **Strategic project manager**: You’re experienced in managing large-scale initiatives with oversight on budget, governance, and accountability.
- **Decisive and impact-driven**: You make informed, evidence-based decisions that support community or industry needs and align with agency goals.
- **Skilled mediator**: You navigate conflicts with ease, maintaining positive relationships with the public, employees, and stakeholders.
- **Innovative problem-solver**: You foster a culture of alternative solutions that drive policy and business improvements.
- **Collaborative communicator**: Your high-level communication skills and political insight help you influence and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

**The details**
- Full-time (37.5 hrs/per week)
- Term position to 30 June 2028 available immediately.
- Located in Mount Barker, South Australia

**Requirements**:

- National Police Check
- Current class “C” driver’s license and willingness to drive is essential.
- Australian residency or a current work permit.

**Remuneration**:
(ASO8): $121,107 - $125,679 per annum.
