Griffith Sport is looking for an experienced Manager to oversee the Nathan Fitness Centre. The role is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of both the Nathan Fitness Centre, and the Logan Workout Room (Logan campus). The position will be suited to a self-driven worker with great initiative and highly developed organisational skills, and a passion for continuous improvement and refining efficiencies in processes.

The role requires the Manager to be able to lead positively while juggling competing priorities and maintaining a calm and composed demeanour, supporting staff to do the same.

**About you**
**Essential Qualifications**
- Relevant qualifications (**minimum Certificate IV in Fitness**) with a minimum of 5 years industry experience. A relevant tertiary qualification combined with industry experience will be highly regarded
- Current First Aid including CPR
- Current, Positive Blue Card
- Current Driver's Licence

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- Experience using membership and venue management software.
- Highly developed communication, organisation and administrative skills.
- Experience in managing risk and health and safety requirements.
- Demonstrated people management skills.
- Be highly self-motivated, be able to demonstrate initiative, discretion and judgement to perform duties independently and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.
- Previous experience in student-based services, preferably in a tertiary environment.

This is a continuing, full-time position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

**Salary Range**
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $77,761 - $87,235 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $90,981 - $102,065 per annum.
