Radiology Billing Supervisor

**About the **Radiology Department**:
The Radiology Department is a large clinical service, performing over 180,000 imaging examinations per year. Patient billing is a core component of the administration of the Radiology service.

**About the role**:
As the Billing Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with the Radiology Business Manager to ensure the effective management of all aspects of patient billing within the Radiology Department. This position is based at the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and will require the leadership of a small team (3-5 staff).

A regular day will see you:

- Leading and supervising the performance of all Radiology Department billing functions
- Coordinating and supporting billing staff, including task allocation, task completion and training
- Completing a variety of system testing, reporting and audit functions
- Creating and maintaining billing team documentation, operating procedures and training material
- Collaborating with the broader radiology team, hospital finance teams and a range of other stakeholders

**About you**:
You will be a dynamic, vibrant and highly organised team member who enjoys high attention to detail and has the ability to share this enthusiasm with your team. You will have excellent communication skills and strong administrative skills, having gained relevant experience by working previously within a high-volume complex billing environment.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Previous leadership experience in a similar role (3-5 staff)
- Demonstrated ability to manage workload of self and others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders
- A sound understanding of information technology and exposure to working across multiple systems/programs including intermediate Excel, Teams & SharePoint Skills
- Previous hospital or medical practice billing experience
