**Energy Pricing Analyst**

**What’s the opportunity?**

We are looking for an Energy Analyst to provide timely and accurate mass market pricing for electricity and gas, you will also help with the identification of market trends and opportunities to drive the development of new offerings and profitably grow customers.

**The day to day**
- Update mass market pricing for electricity and gas on a regular basis.
- Monitor and collect competitor product & pricing intelligence, analyse data and present in an insightful, concise and easily comprehensible format.
- Make recommendations on the pricing of the mass market product suite to ensure product competitiveness and profitability across all Vocus product offerings
- Undertake customer profitability analysis across segments.
- Recommend business strategies & initiatives to improve profitability by targeting customer segments.
- Understanding and remaining up to date with changing regulations that impact pricing
- Assist in the development of the short to medium term strategy and roadmap for the energy product proposition and offers
- Meeting the regulatory requirements regarding any changes in mass market offer rates
- Optimising customer life-cycle value, whilst addressing short-term goals & targets.

**What you will bring to the table**
- Experience in evaluating and analysing pricing in an energy environment
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
- High level of detail orientation and sound commercial acumen
- Exceptionally strong interpersonal engagement skills and service orientation be naturally “hands on” with an ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a small team
- Ability to communicate and present complex financial and strategic information to a wide audience
