We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance Coordinator for a top maintenance company based in Nowergup and occasionally from the East Perth site. Would ideally suit someone living North of the River.

The role will be reporting to the Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager and provide compliance coordination and continuous improvement strategies.

**Duties**:

- Implementation and execution of auditing process including high level report writing.
- Work with stakeholders to implement and integrate HSEQ and compliance-based initiatives and support stakeholders and process owners in ensuring compliance related matters are addressed appropriately.
- Assist with process implementation through a defined change management process.
- Advising and educating personnel of legislative requirements and changes.
- Actively analysing HSEQ and other business performance, providing trend analysis suitable for senior management.
- Monitor and review relevant and applicable legislative and other compliance changes that may impact the scope of operations.
- Assist with maintaining appropriate frameworks, aligning EDIR-BT(M)’s policies and procedures aligned with the JV’s strategic direction and current legislative requirements.
- Assist in compiling reports as required and provide service and support to management.
- Facilitate the development of systems that ensures that HSE, Quality and Rail Safety risks are identified, evaluated and controlled in accordance with related policies and legislation.

**Hours**:

- Monday to Friday
- 40hrs per week
- Tertiary Qualification in Business Law or Business Management (preferred) but Diploma or Cert III considered
- HSEQ lead auditing qualification and significant experience in conducting audits.
- Understanding of ISO/IEC management systems.
- High quality preparation and presentation of reports and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent perception and ability to read a situation.
- Ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a similar role.
