An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Delivery Manager, Operations and Maintenance to join Service Stream in our Utilities team based in the Bendigo Office.
About the Role
Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Service Delivery Manager, Operations and Maintenance to join our growing company. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of services to Coliban Water (“the Client”) by managing the operations and maintenance functions of the Service Stream Coliban Water Project.
Key Responsibilities
This role is responsible for
- Managing the service delivery process and ensuring that services are delivered on time, within budget, meeting key contract milestones and deliverables to the satisfaction of our Client, Coliban Water.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service delivery team, ensuring that processes and procedures are followed, and that service levels are maintained, while overseeing that all work practices are compliant to Service Stream HSEQ standards and all project staff are aware, are trained and understand their obligations for operating a safe workplace
- Maintaining project cost management plans, tracking and reporting against the project budget to work completed.
- Managing project scope and address any variations in accordance with the project contract and to ensure that all project variations are approved and documented to enable revenue recovery whilst meeting project deliverables
This opportunity will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, experience leading multi-discipline team and highly skilled in effective stakeholder engagement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you have a strong understanding of asset management and maintenance, as well as strong technical and operational understanding of service delivery of infrastructure maintenance. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge and experience with a high level of business and commercial (contractual) acumen backed by a sound ability to interpret, read and manage budgets, financial reports and analyze schedules.
You will also demonstrate and possess the following:
- Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field
- 10+ years’ experience in Service Delivery and / or Contract Management, preferably with Water sector experience.
- Experience in contract management or related fields such as procurement, legal, or project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, as well as strong negotiations & collaboration skill set
- Leadership experience and ability to work well under pressure as well as being able to actively involve and empower people to make decisions
