If you have the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of people, are passionate about making a difference in people's lives and consider yourself to be reliable, professional and outcomes focused - then we want to hear from you **What you will be bring**: - Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services - Current CPR / First Aid Certificate - Current Criminal Record Check - Current Working with Children Check - NDIS Worker Orientation Module, COVID-19 Awareness Training - Current Australian Driver’s Licence - Roadworthy, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred) - Smartphone with internet access **What you will be doing**: - Assist customers to live independently and maintain strong connections to their local communities - Develop healthy relationships and provide customers with companionship and support - Work as a team with our service coordinators to achieve a great customer experience - Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance) - Domestic assistance (light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation) - Social support/transportation (social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments) - Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs - Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress - Participating in staff meetings and attending training and development sessions **About us**: Just Better Care Brisbane North is a community organisation providing in-home support services to the elderly, people with disabilities and people transitioning from hospital to home. We assist our customers to continue to live independently in their own home by providing services such as personal care, showering, domestic assistance, social support, respite support, 24 hour care and lifestyle support.
