The City of Rockingham is located 40km south of the Perth CBD and is one of the fastest growing local governments in the south metropolitan area. This dynamic and exciting role is central to the delivery of various civil projects across the City. This is a “hands on” position through project conception, procurement, execution, delivery and close out. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality in line with the City’s policies, frameworks, industry best practice and codes.
- Degree, diploma or trade qualification relevant to the position
- Well-developed knowledge and experience of civil construction
- Understand the major components of civil design practices
- Demonstrated experience in managing and administering construction projects and contractors
- Experience with financial management of multi-disciplinary projects covering budgeting, cost control and reporting requirement.
- Experience in the production of high quality tender documents such as project scopes, specifications, contracts and estimates
- Strong written and interpersonal skills, particularly verbal communication
- Strong consultation skills with the ability to engage an array of stakeholders

This position offers a gross salary of **$88,929** per annum, and:

- 11% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
