We are seeking a part time HR Administrator wanting to kick start their HR career in this dynamic and engaging industry.

**Your day to day**
Your days will vary as you move through a variety of administrative and transactional activities to support the HR function of the hotel. You will manage HR admin matters such as employment contracts, onboarding documentation, the recruitment portal, data entry into our HRIS, training auditing, managing HR files and databases.

Your ability to manage multiple tasks at once along with complex HRIS systems will ensure the smooth operation of this role.

As a change of pace from the administrative tasks, you will also assist the hotel leadership team in recruitment activities such as pre screening and reference checks.

This role reports to the Human Resources Manager and will suit someone who is a self starter and can work autonomously. The role is a part time role of ideally 3 days per week and at Holiday Inn & IHG, we are open to flexible ways of working so we look to accommodate working parents or study commitments where possible.

**What we need from you**
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Prior experience as HR administrator or recruitment assistant role is advantageous
- HR diploma/degree or equivalent is highly desired
- Prior hotel experience is advantageous
- Confident on systems such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and exposure to other HRIS
- Confident communication skills - verbal and written and value confidentiality
- Excellent eye for detail & commitment to high standards
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Bring you personality to work and make our guests smile
- You must meet the legal requirements to live & work in Australia
