**About the role at News Corp Australia**
As the Desktop Support Technician, you will provide professional and effective Technical support to all News Corp business users and departments on the various networks and computer systems within the organisation, onsite or remotely.
What’s the role?
- Deliver elite support to onsite and remote executives, as well as all NewsCorp customers
- Tracking, troubleshooting, and resolving all end-user computer issues.
- Develop solid relationships to best understand and support the technical needs of staff within the organisation
- Independently resolve complex, break/fix issues in person or via telephone
- Install and maintain all desktop (PC and Apple) hardware and software to departmental standards
- Investigate, analyse and resolve escalations from other News Technology resolver groups
**Seniority**
Mid Level - A role for someone with some well-developed knowledge and skills they can bring to the role and team. Typically after 2-5 years of experience.
**Core Responsibilities**
- System Maintenance - Monitor, maintain, and support the technical operations of the organization’s products
- Technical Incident Resolution - Analyze and resolve technical and functional product issues for internal and external customers

- Attention to detail - Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exists in information and deliverables
