Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional looking to grow your career in human resources? Join our team as an **HR and Rostering Administrator**, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing employee schedules, coordinating HR tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** HR Administration**:
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records on the CRM software.
- Support recruitment processes, including posting job ads and scheduling interviews.
- Ensure new employees have a smooth start by managing contracts, inductions, and compliance documentation
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
- Assist with general HR administration tasks.
- ** Roster Management**:
- Prepare, maintain, and update rosters for employees across various teams/departments on the rostering software (Visual care)
- Manage shift allocations based on operational needs, availability, and skill sets.
- Handle shift changes, swaps, and last-minute adjustments while minimizing disruptions.
- Work closely with department heads and team leaders to determine staffing needs.
- Communicate roster changes and updates promptly to staff.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding schedules, leave, and coverage.
**Skills and Experience**:
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the Disability or Community services sector
- Relevant qualification in HR or similar
- Experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration, rostering or a similar role.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and job posting platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance and best practices is a plus.
- Previous experience with a NDIS provider is a plus.
- Willingness to obtain a NDIS screen check number
