**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Building on its success in the resources, energy and infrastructure markets, Ampcontrol is expanding significantly and as a result we have an exciting opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Officer.

Working within our Finance Team, your primary focus will be supporting Ampcontrol’s Group of Companies, to achieve timely and accurate processing and payment of supplier invoices and employee expense claims. Additionally, the role is also responsible for the reconciliation of supplier accounts and liaising with suppliers to ensure correct account balances are maintained.

Your typical duties will include:

- Review invoices and follow up with various purchasing departments
- Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and enter
- Reconciliation of supplier account balances
- Maintain supplier accounts in system as needed
- Enter General Ledger supplier invoices
- Complete payment runs as required
- Process and pay monthly payroll deductions
- Process expense reimbursements and other employee claims
- Filing of documentation

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

- Recent experience using accounting software packages, e.g. Syteline
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
- Understanding of accounts payable functions and processes
- Ability to enter large volumes of data accurately and in a timely manner
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Well-developed business communication skills
- A strong customer service focus
- Accounts Payable Statement of Attainment (_Desirable_)
- Accounts Administration Certificate III (_Desirable_)
