Events Coordinator

**The Star Gold Coast currently has an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Events Coordinator on a 12 Month Contract.**

As the **Events Coordinator**, you will be responsible for supporting the events team in the coordination and retention of conferences and events for The Star Gold Coast.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your events and customer service skills. Please note that this role a 12-month, Max Term Full-Time contract.

**A few of your responsibilities**:

- Assist the Event Planners with the coordination and smooth delivery of conferences and events
- Effectively manage all aspects of event planning administration
- Financial account management for all events on the property, including managing deposit schedules and invoice issuing
- Supporting the Event Planning Manager on event allocations of conference/event files for future business

**What are we looking for**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to proactively work within a fast-paced environment
- Thorough knowledge of the Opera Sales & Catering Systems in conjunction with Opera (Advanced Reporting and CAD programme desirable)
- Previous experience within Events or Event Coordination
