**Financial Analyst - Transition & Integration**
- 12-month fixed term full time opportunity

**The opportunity**

Silverchain are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to work within the Transition & Integration team. This is initially a 12-month fixed term full time role, with potential for extension. This unique role will suit someone who enjoys a complete virtual role where you will work from home full time.

This role will support the financial analysis of consolidation activities following a strategic acquisition. The role will perform in-depth financial analyses, implement benefits management frameworks, and develop financial models. This role will contribute to the completion of successful transition & integration activities that ensure financial efficiency, optimise resource allocation, and enhance the quality of care and overall organisational sustainability.

**Key responsibilities**

The major accountabilities of this position are:

- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify key areas for optimisation and synergy realisations.
- Develop and maintain financial models to accurately identify, track, and report against cost reduction targets.
- Prepare regular reports on financial outcomes for key stakeholders.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of integration initiatives.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support transition & integration activities, including forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Build and maintain detailed models to support financial planning and strategic decisions.
- Support the development of integration plans and track progress against key milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial and operational objectives.
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
- Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial audiences.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Proven experience in financial analysis and financial modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in mergers & acquisitions, or business consolidations.
- Significant experience managing and delivering work of similar scale and complexity.
- Advanced stakeholder relationship and communication skills through to Board level.
