**About the role**
Reporting through to the Head of Customer and Energy Markets this is a brand new role as we expand the team.

**What you enjoy**
- Managing large amounts of high-frequency data using various data software / coding packages
- Revenue analysis - spot bidding and trading
- Providing input into trading strategy including making recommendations including making recommendations for the dispatch offer pricing strategy
- Supporting secondary market hedging
- Developing relationships with potential offtake customers
- Identifying customers and developing products that deliver value for shareholders
- Procuring long term price forecasts for green product and energy markets

**Your Background**
- Minimum degree in Science / IT (focus on data science) / Commerce / Economics or Engineering.
- Data analysis roles in energy market operations and compliance, asset operations or asset management
- Working knowledge of the National Energy Market or similar wholesale spot market markets with high frequency operational and bidding data
- Strong skills in Excel including VBA macro-writing, SQL and other data base management / coding languages.
