**Project Advisor opportunity**
- **Approx. $60-$65 per hour plus Super** **dependent on experience**:

**About the role**

Statutory Authority seeks an experienced Project Advisor to join them on short-term assignment for a duration of up to a period of 4 months based in Melbourne CBD. As a Project Advisor, you will manage and support a range of projects in relating to legislation, policy, and regulation for the organisation.

**Responsibilities and duties**

Reporting directly to the Director your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Taking a lead role in managing and contributing to projects related to preparation, conduct and closure of Integrity and Regulation programs.
- Providing specialist advice and support to the Branch leadership team in relation to the preparation of documents, reports, submissions, workshops and tenders/quotations
- Developing and implementing procedures or systems that contribute to the planning, conduct or review of major programs across the Integrity and Regulation branch.
- Supporting the design, development and implementation of strategic and operational planning and monitoring, analysis and reporting on successful delivery of objectives.
- Represent the wider Branch in project working groups and workshops

**Key Selection Criteria**

The skills and experience you will need to demonstrate include:

- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects involving inflexible timelines with the ability to recognise and resolve operational service delivery problems.
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including internal and external clients, senior election officials and the Senior Management Team to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Well-developed computer skills including extensive experience with the software products Microsoft Word and Excel.

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary Qualifications in Public Administration, Regulatory policy, or equivalent discipline.
