Street Furniture Australia Pty Ltd designs and manufactures highly durable furniture for the public realm. The company uniquely runs both an R&D program and factory under one roof in Western Sydney, Australia.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchasing and Distribution Specialist to join our team and help us optimise our supply and distribution operations.

The Role:

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to maintain optimal stock levels within budget.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and manage contracts.
- Track and manage inventory, ensuring timely re-ordering and re-stocking.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, maintain performance records, and manage quotes and orders.
- Process and approve invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.
- Collaborate internally and externally to ensure timely transportation and delivery.

Skills and Experience:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, business, or equivalent.
- 2+ years previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and analytical skills.
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills.
- Good computer skills with packages including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and databases.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
