**About the role**
The Manager of Assessments Support is responsible for overseeing the systems and processes related to project assessments under Division 5.1 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

**About you**
- Proactive, dynamic, passionate about driving efficiency and excellence in project assessments.
- Extensive experience in developing systems and processes and performance monitoring and reporting to support Part 5 activities.
- Relevant experience in environmental assessment and planning legislation and processes.
- Thrives in a dynamic environment, displaying strategic thinking and exceptional written and communication skills.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and projects.
- Natural problem solver, adept at analysing data and performance metrics to identify teams and external stakeholder to enhance assessment processes.
- Analytical mindset to identify trends and implement solutions for measurement validity and reliability.
- Inspiring leader who fosters collaboration and drives performance.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
**Essential requirements of the role**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Management/Environmental Science, Engineering, and Project Management.
- Hold a valid clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check).
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
