**About the Role**
The School of BioSciences at the University of Melbourne is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Associate Lecturer. We are committed to delivering exceptional undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs and are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. As an Associate Lecturer, you will play a vital role in enhancing our teaching programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver lectures, practicals and workshops;
- Contribute to the development, marking and compilation of assessments, including assignments and examinations.
**Who We Are Looking For**
You will also have:
- A PhD in a relevant field of biology;
- Expertise in genomics, bioinformatics and phylogenetics;
- Evidence of experience in quality undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching;
- Expertise in plant evolution or plant genomics is highly desirable.
