Alpha Omega Management Consulting Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS and approved Home Care Package service provider. We urgently look for support workers to provide in-home care service for elderly clients in a casual basis.

**Position Purpose**:
To assist elderly clients in performing daily tasks and improve overall independence and wellbeing in a home or community setting.

**Location**: Cherrybrook, Castle Hill and Turramurra.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc.
- Transporting and accompanying clients when required.
- Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping.
- Training clients to care for themselves and educate family members.
- Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence.
- Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in/out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app.

**About you**:

- Confident and calm manner.
- Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to adapt** **communication skills to each client you work with.
- Current Criminal History Check (National Police Check)

**Desirable Qualifications and other criteria.**
- Experience on working with people with elderly people with dementia (desirable).
- Certificate Level III in Individual Support or equivalent (advantageous).
- Having full driver licence and owning a car.
