**About the Role**
The Project Officer delivers and supports a broad range of EPA priority projects identified as part of the annual business planning process or when significant issues arise that require a project management approach. The Project Officer will be responsible for project management, information management, report development, research, analysis, and advice.

**About Us**
The EPA is South Australia’s independent environment protection regulator. The organisation works to protect, restore and improve the environment through the risk-based regulation of pollution, waste, noise and radiation. The EPA works closely with industry, the community and government to protect the unique natural environment while supporting economic growth and improving wellbeing. The EPA is responsible for the administration of the _Environment Protection Act 1993_ (EP Act) and the _Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021_ (RPC Act) and also exercises responsibilities under other South Australian planning and environmental legislation.

**Desirable Qualifications, Knowledge or Experience**
- Project management qualification.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suite of products.
- Understanding of environmental protection and/or regulatory practice.

**Remuneration**
ASO5 ($85,790 - $95,413 per annum) + 11.5% super to your choice of superfund.

**Contract**
Long term contract (until 13 January 2026) and full time (37.5 hours per week).

**Special Conditions**
- This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. A current National Police Clearance is essential.
- The incumbent will occasionally be required to travel to sites in country areas and interstate.
- The incumbent may be required to work out of hours and as the need arises.
- A current driver's licence is essential.
