**About the Business**

Our Finance and Business Services Division oversees the department's budget and financial compliance responsibilities, its infrastructure and assets portfolio, as well as procurement and quality assurance functions, business improvement and technology and screening transformation. They provide support and strategic advice across the department regarding a range of DHS goals, systems and processes.

**Role Details**

The Project Officer - ASES, is a role within Community Investment and Support and is accountable to the Principal Policy and Program Officer - ASES Coordinator for:

- Providing advice and project management in relation to Quality Programs including ASES and Star Service for Government and external stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders to support delivery of ASES.
- Providing data and strategic advice as required to contribute to Community Service project.
- Contributing to the planning and monitoring of the Quality Programs including ASES.

Key outcomes and accountabilities:
1. Evaluate the implementation of Quality Programs policies and programs, including undertaking appropriate data and outcome analysis.
2. Provide advice to senior management on Quality programs policy, processes and strategic initiatives.
3. Consistently demonstrate a commitment to quality standards, proactively identify improvements and show initiative in addressing improvement needs.
4. Actively contribute to the development and improvement of systems to facilitate best practice processes that underpin the department’s community services policies and procedures.
6. Maintain professionalism and a commitment to respectful interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
7. Maintain and monitor information systems and online tools to produce and analyse meaningful and timely reports.
Note: Any other responsibilities in line with the classification level of the role as assigned by Line Manager and/or the Department.

**Special Conditions**

National Police Check required.
Tertiary qualification in a relevant business or project management discipline (post-graduate preferred) OR equivalent of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation is desirable.

**Role Status**: Term up to 31/12/2025 (Part-Time)

**Salary Range**: $85,790-$95,413 (ASO5)

**Location**: Adelaide
