Do you have initiative, a sense of fun and able to motivate people to achieve their goals? Are you looking for a role working within an energetic team supporting people with an Acquired Brain Injury to become more independent in their lives and local community? Headstart supports people with an ABI to pursue activities of choice in the community and re-develop independent life skills.

We are looking for applicants to join us and provide quality support enabling people to live the life they choose. We are seeking motivated people who are innovative and flexible in their approaches to reducing the barriers to community life that are experienced by people with an ABI. Your role is critical in the long term community inclusion of people with an ABI.
- Essential criteria for this exciting role:

- Good communication and team skills
- Commitment to consumer driven services
- Knowledge of community resources
- Driver’s licence
- Working with Children Check
- Current National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check NDISWC (or be willing to obtain)
- Access to a comprehensively insured vehicle and willingness to drive a service vehicle
- Current Provide First Aid certificate HLTAID011 (formerly known as HLTAID003)
- Provide proof of your Right to Work in Australia
- Full COVID-19 vaccination and have received the booster shot if eligible, or signed current medical contraindication certificate from a medical practitioner
- Completion certificate for the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- (The module takes appx 90 minutes. You can save, exit and return to the module at any time. Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion)._
- Completion of a vocational qualification in disability or community services OR completion of the New Worker - NDIS Induction Module
- (Completion of the 8 modules will take approximately 20 - 45 minutes each)._

Hours: We are looking for people who are flexible in their work hours and are available to cover shifts from day through evening, overnight and weekends.

**Salary**: SCHCADS Award Level 2 PP1 Casual
