Devoted Health Care (NDIS registered) is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Disability Support Worker, to support an individual living in the **Hamilton Hill area** to continue living in his home. Ideally, we are looking for a **male support worker** to build rapport with this individual, and who is able to commence work as soon as possible.
The male client you will be supporting is in his early 40s. He is very sociable, active, and enjoys being outdoors. You will be part of a team that supports this male 24/7, and you will engage in a range of support needs to assist him to remain living in his home and accessing the community. This role requires companionship, mentoring, positive behaviour support, and guidance. Activities may include assistance with daily living, domestic tasks, administering medication, behaviour management support, transport support, and encouraging participation in community activities.
**Requirements for this role**
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Orientation Module (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Covid-19 fully vaccinated
- Relevant experience or at least Certificate III in Disability
- Readiness to learn and adapt
- Valid driver's licence

**Salary**: $28.95 - $45.92 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
our support workers are required to wear a mask, use good hygiene practices, and be COVID vaccinated to work with our clients.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton Hill, WA 6163: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
