Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) - South is offering an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and dynamic **Team Leader** to join our multidisciplinary service. This role is ideal for a senior clinician who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and leading high-performing teams dedicated to improving outcomes for young people and their families. We are offering **flexible full-time, part-time, permanent, and temporary positions.**

As **Team Leader**, you will work closely with the CAMHS Service Manager to provide expert clinical and operational leadership to a team of experienced senior clinicians. You will play a key role in guiding the team’s response to complex mental health presentations—including early psychosis—ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.

This is a multi-disciplinary role and is graded as the following:

- Nurse Manager Grade 2
- Social Worker Level 4
- Occupational Therapist Level 4
- Senior Psychologist

You’ll be someone who:

- Is a respected senior clinician (Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or Registered Nurse) with current AHPRA registration or relevant professional body
- Leads with integrity, accountability, and emotional intelligence
- Creates a positive, supportive team culture where staff feel valued and empowered
- Brings a calm, solutions-focused approach to complex challenges and high-pressure situations
- Communicates with clarity and purpose, building strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Has proven experience in supervising, mentoring, and developing clinicians within a multidisciplinary setting
- Understands the clinical needs and sensitivities involved in working with young people and their families
- Is passionate about service innovation, quality improvement, and aligning care with best practice models

**About the role**:
As Team Leader, you will:

- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance across a multidisciplinary team of senior mental health clinicians
- Manage, mentor, coach, and support staff through supervision, performance management, training, and rostering
- Attend daily clinical intake meetings and support evidence-based decision-making for client care and management plans
- Ensure balanced caseload distribution and service coverage, including reallocation during staff leave or high-demand periods
- Maintain your own clinical caseload while supporting team coordination
- Drive clinical service planning, evaluation, and coordination aligned with CCLHD Mental Health strategy
- Promote integration with other internal services and external partners to ensure continuity of care
