Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking a Consultation & Assessment Team (CAT) and Safeguard Team Leader to join our dynamic CAMHS team and lead impactful mental health services across the region.

**About the Opportunity**

As the CAT and Safeguard Team Leader, you will provide expert clinical and operational leadership while supervising a multidisciplinary team. Your role is central to improving patient outcomes and ensuring high-quality care for children, adolescents, and young adults (0-24 years). In this role you will:

- Provide consultation and support to staff and managers across mental and general health teams, as well as external agencies.
- Lead, mentor, and support your team to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, risk management, and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Implement service improvements, models of care, and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the CAMHS Service Manager to ensure the delivery of the Caring for the Coast Strategy.

**About You**

We are looking for someone who has:

- You would like to make a difference in people's lives and like a new challenge every day.
- Have current APHRA Registration and hold authority to practice as a Registered Nurse. Hold a current NSW drivers’ license and paid Working With Children Check.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in acute child and/or young person's mental health (0-24 years)
- Proven leadership and management skills and demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence-based practice and practice development.
